2nd Semester lunch orders are due this Friday (please click on the link above to place your child(ren)’s order. You will be billed via Blackbaud for the lunch fees sometime in January. 2nd Semester lunches will start on Thursday, January 16.

BRRR IT’S COLD OUTSIDE
With the temperature’s dropping, please make sure your children are dressed for outside play. As per the Student/Parent Handbook:
Dressing for Winter Weather
Recess will be held outdoors unless temperatures/wind chill are 10 degrees Fahrenheit or below.
Students are expected to wear winter coats, boots, and winter accessories during winter weather. If wearing boots to school, boots must be removed when entering the building and appropriate shoes worn. Students are encouraged to wear hats, gloves, and warm coats throughout winter. Please put your child(ren)’s name on all items of clothing that may be removed at school.

MISS GOLDEN’S AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
As the days get shorter and colder, your child may be looking for something to do after school. All K-2 students are invited to Miss Golden's After School Club! We meet on Mondays from dismissal time to 4:15. There is no weekly commitment, come as much or little as you'd like, it's up to you and your child! LOST AND FOUND
We have accumulated a lot of lost items. If your child is missing something, please check the table located in the milk cooler hallway. All items not claimed by Christmas break will be donated. Please label anything that your child brings to school. It makes it so much easier to return if we find it.

We have all day adoration on Wednesday from 7:30-5:30 during Advent.

VOLUNTEER CHEERLEADING COACH NEEDED
Saint Paul's is looking for a volunteer to lead the middle school cheer team this season! This is a very flexible position and previous cheer experience is not required. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Miss Golden at kathryn.golden@st-paul.pvt.k12.ia.us.

GIFTS FOR THE ELDERLY
The Student Council and 8th grade are collecting items to distribute to 20 residents living in a Nursing Home this Christmas. Some of the items requested are:
easy puzzles (100 pieces or less) kinetic sand activity games
fuzzy socks curlers robes
slippers hairbrushes combs
ponytail holders clips body wash
scented lotion or body spray nail polish and remover makeup (eye shadow, lipstick)
wipes pens flavor packets for water bottles
fun gel pens whiteout liquid twin bed sheets
These items do not need to be wrapped. The 8th grade Elves will be putting a gift bag together for each resident which will include a handwritten note. These items can be brought to the front office or Mrs. Harvey's room from now till Dec 13.

CAFÉ ON VINE
The Student Council and 8th grade are providing a meal at Cafe on Vine on Christmas Eve. The kids will make snack bags for the patrons and provide warm clothing options for them.
They are collecting:
warm thick socks regular men’s socks warm gloves
hats scarves boots (new or gently used)
snow boots (new or gently used) long underwear sweatshirts
coats hand warmers blankets
These items can be brought to Mrs. Harvey's room or put on the Advent table in the main hall starting Dec 1-Dec 16.
