8th grade is hosting a haunted hallway during Trunk or Treat. Entrance is one canned good to help support AHS in the Hunger Drive.

LADIES NIGHT BINGO

There is still time to sign up!

You can still sign up to play Bingo!

Ladies Night Bingo will be Thursday, November 14th in Denning Hall with doors opening at 5:00 and Bingo starting at 6pm. Get your ticket to play for $20 until November 1st, or gather a whole table of 7-10 ladies! This is a BYO event, and prizes will be awarded for the best themed table. The link for signing up is attached. Price of the ticket increases to $25 after November 1st. Completed forms can be dropped off at the school office. AHS INFO KNIGHT

All families interested in learning about everything Assumption has to offer are invited to

attend Information Knight TONIGHT, Wednesday, Oct 23rd from 5:30-6:30 pm in the AHS Carroll Lab.

This is an informative session for parents and guardians to meet our administration and learn

about academic offerings as well as financial aid options. You may park in the front faculty lot

and use our front entrance. There will be students to guide you to the Carroll Lab. Please join

us to learn more!

TRUNK OR TREAT

Home and School would like to invite all school families and all parish members to Trunk or Treat on Friday October 25th! This is a fun event for the whole family! There is no cost for this event. Sign up to trick or treat, or to hand out candy. Kids remember to dress up in your favorite costume and bring a bag to collect goodies! Please RSVP Here

 

PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST

The SPS Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest and New Spooky Story Contest
All children at SPS are invited to participate in the annual pumpkin decorating contest on October 31st at school. Children will enter their pumpkins in to be judged with fellow classmates. Each class will view pumpkins and be able to vote for their favorite from each grade level. Please encourage your students to create their own artistic visions.
Pumpkin Drop Off will take place on October 30th in Denning Hall from 4-6.
New this year for students in 4-8th grade is the Spooky Story Contest, students can submit a story of their own creation until October 25th and the winner from each grade will be announced on October 30th!
Stories can be turned into the office and should include a title, author name, and grade.
We are awaiting your ghoulish creations!!!!!

3yo Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten students will conference in February, but 4yo Preschool will have similar conference times as K-8.

JOB OPENINGS

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School Childcare currently has one full time aide position and one part time aide position available in Small Beginnings daycare working with preschoolers. Please see times listed below.

 

1. Full time 10-5:30pm

2. Part time 2:30/3-5:30pm

 

Small Beginnings Daycare is open from 7-5:30 however, closing staff may leave when the last child goes home.

TRIVIA NIGHT

Join us for a family friendly, all ages trivia night on Saturday, November 16th hosted by the Boy Scouts. Doors will open at 5:30 after mass and trivia will start at 6:15 p.m. Questions will be geared for every age group from Bluey, to Taylor Swift, to Elvis and everything in between. Show up by yourself, with friends or with your family and join a table or email Amy Murphy to reserve a table for up to 10 people. Cost is $5 per person at the door. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks or buy a walking taco and drink for $5. We will also have pop, water and desserts for sale. CAMP SHALOM OPEN HOUSE

Camp Shalom is excited to invite you to an Open House on November 3rd from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the camp. Explore our beautiful grounds, witness the progress on the new Health/Retreat Center, dubbed the Shalom Lodge, and enjoy a variety of fun activities for both adults and children. Come connect with our community and experience the wonder of Camp Shalom!

We have made amazing strides towards the future of Camp Shalom! While at the Open House, meet the team and bring any questions you have about pre-registration for next summer and upcoming events like Shalomsgiving in November and Winter Camp in February. These fun weekend camps are great experiences that will give campers, whether new or seasoned, a taste of camp life.
