NEW INFO
TOMORROW IS WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY
Students may wear colorful, mismatched socks with their uniforms tomorrow to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day! Most of the people with Down Syndrome have an extra (3rd) copy of the 21st chromosome (that’s why we celebrate on 3/21). Since chromosomes look a bit like mismatched socks, wearing silly socks is a fun way to support these special people.

RICE BOWL FOR MEALS OF HOPE
DID YOU KNOW that one in five of all children face food insecurity each day?
DID YOU KNOW that in Scott County, over 14,000 people, many of whom are children, are food insecure?
Please help SPS fight hunger this Lent!
The school is working in conjunction with the parish to raise $3500 for our Meals of Hope project. You can help by having your children earn money to put in their Rice Bowls, half of which will go to Meal of Hope. You can also donate by "buying a plate". SPS students decorated plates, which are displayed in Denning Hall. Buy a plate, and all proceeds will go towards the Meals of Hope project.
You can also help by volunteering to package the 10,000 meals we plan to put together on Sunday, April 7th.
Together, we can battle hunger in our community!
