TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE
Try Hockey for Free with the Quad City Hockey Association
April 20th
11:30 am - 1:00 pm
River's Edge Ice Rink
This event gives kids (ages 4-17) the opportunity to come out on the ice and try the game of hockey in a safe environment for FREE!! This event is for kids that are new to the game of hockey. We will have coaches out on the ice to help the skaters. There is no skating experience needed!!
Please register online before coming to the rink to speed up the check in process. Link is at the bottom of this email or can also be found on our website at www.quadcityhockey.com.
What to bring: We encourage those who have access to equipment to please bring it. If you do not have any equipment, you will need to bring:
· A loose-fitting pair of sweatpants or snow pants
· A pair of gloves (they don’t need to be hockey gloves- mittens are fine)
· A helmet (a bike helmet works great!)
· A Smile
What will be provided:
Skates are provided by the River's Edge, if you need to borrow them. The QCHA will have sticks and a few helmets on hand for participants to borrow.
*Parents are not allowed on the ice unless they have fulfilled all of the USA Hockey coaching requirements.
