Before and Aftercare Billing

Before/Aftercare is now being billed daily in Blackbaud. The time is entered each day for each student, and there is a running total each month until the monthly invoice is emailed to the parents. Please remember to check Blackbaud for Before & Aftercare billing, especially if you are ESA approved or have already paid your tuition for the year. Payments can be made through your Blackbaud account. Unfortunately, Blackbaud shows the total amount charged but not the date/time detail. If you need that information, please contact Robin Spencer at financialoffice@sccsiowa.org, or 563-326-5313 x283.

Vacation and Homework

Just a reminder that it is the policy of St. Paul’s School to not provide assignments and homework ahead of time for children who will be missing school due to a family vacation during scheduled school days.

  • Students will have one day to make up work for each day of school missed.
  • Please do not request teachers to go to the extra work of putting together homework packets and plans when your family is choosing to miss school for a vacation.
  • Your vacation choice should not put extra work on your child’s teacher.
  • Teachers will catch them up when they return.
  • Missing direct instruction and discussion in the classroom can never be duplicated.

At our All School Mass on Friday, Nov. 10 at 1:45 PM we will be honoring the Veterans of our parish and school. All veterans and active military are encouraged to come. Invite parents, grandparents, and family friends so that we can express our appreciation for their service to our country as a part of our All School Mass.

Senior Thanksgiving Dinner – November 17

Each year SPS students show their appreciation to the seniors of our parish for their support of St. Paul the Apostle School. Our school wouldn’t be here without the support of our parishioners. On Friday, November 17, we will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner from 11:00 – 12:30 PM for any of our parishioners and grandparents, and those seniors who are dear to our school community. Reservations can be made by calling the school office – 322-2923.

We need volunteer help to set up, supervise students serving and clean up, as well as pies and whip cream. Following is the link to sign up to help with the dinner.
